Surveillance topics: all towns, by technology¶
Generated 2026-09-25T17:14:12.
Each file gathers every Connecticut town's mentions of one technology into a single document, with a timestamped link to the exact second of the meeting video for each. The cross-town matrix is the count-only overview of the same data; the per-town reports under docs/towns/ are the complete record for any one town.
These are unreviewed keyword matches, not verified claims. Each receipt below is a place in the public record where a search term appeared in a meeting's auto-generated captions. Keywords are ambiguous — "drone" can mean a bee, "flock" a bird — and auto-captions mis-transcribe. Follow the timestamped link and listen before citing anything here.
A town appearing with few mentions, or not appearing at all, is not evidence that it has avoided this technology. It far more often means that town's meeting backlog has not been downloaded yet, its meetings are not captioned, or its video archive lives on a platform this pipeline cannot read. The coverage figure beside each town is the share of its known meetings actually transcribed — read it first.
Mentions come from two kinds of source. Most are meeting transcripts (auto-generated captions). Some are published agenda or minutes documents, marked
agenda/minuteson the receipt and counted in the "From agendas" column — those are the town's own papers rather than a machine transcription of speech.
These files are generated automatically. No human review has been applied to any mention in them.
