Licence-plate searches by Simsbury police¶
Six Connecticut towns have released the Flock audit log of every search run against their cameras. Below is what that record holds for Simsbury's own police department -- not a finding, just the log.
Simsbury CT PD
- 2,716 searches between 2024-01 and 2026-07 (31 months with at least one search)
- 356 camera networks swept by the average single search
- 100% of them reached beyond Simsbury's own cameras
- The commonest stated reason is free text or a numeric code, rather than one of the preset categories Flock introduced in December 2025
