Licence-plate searches by Westport police¶
Six Connecticut towns have released the Flock audit log of every search run against their cameras. Below is what that record holds for Westport's own police department -- not a finding, just the log.
Westport CT PD
- 10,941 searches between 2025-01 and 2026-08 (20 months with at least one search)
- 461 camera networks swept by the average single search
- 100% of them reached beyond Westport's own cameras
- Most-used stated reason: Motor Vehicle Theft/Stolen
