Licence-plate searches by Plainville police¶
Six Connecticut towns have released the Flock audit log of every search run against their cameras. Below is what that record holds for Plainville's own police department -- not a finding, just the log.
Plainville CT PD
- 379 searches between 2024-04 and 2024-09 (6 months with at least one search)
- 249 camera networks swept by the average single search
- 100% of them reached beyond Plainville's own cameras
- The commonest stated reason is free text or a numeric code, rather than one of the preset categories Flock introduced in December 2025
