Licence-plate searches by Brookfield police¶
Six Connecticut towns have released the Flock audit log of every search run against their cameras. Below is what that record holds for Brookfield's own police department -- not a finding, just the log.
Brookfield CT PD
- 824 searches between 2023-11 and 2025-06 (19 months with at least one search)
- 5,216 camera networks swept by the average single search
- 100% of them reached beyond Brookfield's own cameras
- The commonest stated reason is free text or a numeric code, rather than one of the preset categories Flock introduced in December 2025
