Licence-plate searches by Wethersfield police¶
Six Connecticut towns have released the Flock audit log of every search run against their cameras. Below is what that record holds for Wethersfield's own police department -- not a finding, just the log.
Wethersfield CT PD
- 2,500 searches between 2023-01 and 2026-08 (39 months with at least one search)
- 659 camera networks swept by the average single search
- 97% of them reached beyond Wethersfield's own cameras
- The commonest stated reason is free text or a numeric code, rather than one of the preset categories Flock introduced in December 2025
